Counselling is the service sought by individuals in distress or in some degree of confusion, who approach for professional help to discuss and resolve their issues, in a relationship which is more systematic and confidential than friendship. The counselling services are offered in sessions, the number of sessions are decided mutually by the individual and the counsellor in the beginning, on a case to case basis.

Group interactions provide an opportunity to build relationships and receive interpersonal feedback about how we experience one another. You can gain specific skills and strategies to meet personal goals, explore areas that present personal challenges, and gain support and encouragement from others. Group is one of the most effective ways to explore and support changes you wish to make in your life.
It is a process between a counsellor and a couple for either relationship difficulties, enhancement of the relationship or a premarital counselling. It is a very different counselling relationship as compared to individual counselling, as the counsellor's focus is on the relationship between the two, and maintains neutrality to both parties in the relationship. The counsellor works with the clients to help the clients cope with challenges that the relationship is going through, while maintaining the possibility of a positive experience whatever the outcome may be.
It is a process between the counsellor and the entire family, aiming at sorting out issues and challenges that arise between family members in trying to live together in harmony.

Therefore, life skills are a large group of psycho-social and interpersonal skills, which can help people, to make informed decisions, communicate effectively and develop coping and self management skills that may help an individual to lead a healthy and productive life.
Importance of Life Skill Education:
• Life skills help adolescents to transit successfully from childhood to adulthood by healthy development of social and emotional skills.
